Frequently Asked Questions

  • We can offer a video consultation for anyone, anywhere in the world, and provide personalised advice, guidance and support so you can achieve your home goals without being stressed about making costly mistakes.

We have two types of sessions - 30 minutes and 1 hour - that take place on Zoom video calls. When you book a consultation, you will be asked to list your two most burning questions for a 30min. session, or three for a 1 hour session.

You can book consultations as and when needed, as you plan and navigate through your home project.

  • The video consultation is for those who are seeking personalised advice in a flexible and transparent manner without committing to a high-budget or a full-service requirement. Whether you are looking for our eye to help you conceptualise your space or seeking a sounding board to help you guide through your own projects, we are here to support you.

We recommend this service to those who are managing their own renovation project or have smaller / interior decoration-only projects.

  • Our full interior architecture and design service involves a certain budget, to fully design and execute your home project.

Our video consultation offers a personalised advice as needed and you use our advice to execute your own effort, or gain a second opinion on the advice you have been given.

  • Your video consultation will be with our Creative Director Yoko, who looks forward to connecting with you, while supporting and guiding your design decisions.

  • We are happy to answer any questions you have such as, but not limited to:

    - Floor plan layout
    - Identifying your style and give a direction
    - Brands and suppliers to consider
    - Fixtures, finishes ideas
    - Furniture and accessories selection and placement
    - Kitchen and built-in furniture look and feel
    - Career advice for aspiring designers
    - Renovation and refurbishment ideas and ball park figure (cost only inside London)

  • Video consultation is not a full service where we design and execute your projects. Typically, we will not have enough information to answer questions such as:
    - Providing precise measurements
    - Information on custom product suppliers & personal contacts outside of London
    - Contractor or trades people recommendations specific to your project outside of London
    - Advising on quotation you have received from builders/contractors
    - Ordering any items for you
    - Overseeing any construction work
    - Tangible design deliverables such as CAD drawings, mood boards, room mockups

  • Here are a few suggestions to consider:
    - Ensure your two key questions are well defined. The clearer the questions, the more you will get out of your consultation.
    - Put together a simple document or presentatioin to walk through during your consultation. The document/ presentation could include photos of your space, pieces of furniture you have, floor layout options you are considering, aspirational images you would like to achieve, etc. When booking a consultation, you could upload a file or share a link to your Dropbox or Google Drive with us.
    - A session does go quickly - although you will be surprised by how much we can cover. If you would like to discuss a large area, we encourage you to book two consecutive slots.
