We are seeking a Freelance Garden Designer / Landscape Architect to collaborate on high-end residential garden and outdoor space projects across London.
The candidate must have at least seven year’s practical experience delivering garden/ landscape projects from concept to completion in Greater London. This role suits an experienced designer confident in independently delivering garden projects directly to clients and at the same time enjoys collaborating with architects and interior designers to create a truly holistic space.

Location
Remote working with site visits in London and South East
• Produce design packages for the studio’s design projects that include Masterplans, 2D and 3D concept design, schedules, construction drawings etc.
• Closely work with the studio’s architectural/ interior design team to produce cohesive design
• Prepare tender packages, advise on building contracts, oversee landscaping works to a client handover
• Check that thorough administrative records are being maintained

Skills Required
• Relevant degree in Landscape Architecture / Garden Design
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is essential
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite a plus
• Skills to produce well-thought out space layouts, planting scheme with creative flair
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritise effectively are essential
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Education And Experience
• 7+ years experience within a landscape design studio a must
• Chartered Membership of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) or registration with the Society of Garden Designers (MSGD) highly desirable
• Experience in working remotely with a close-knit design team
• Excellent knowledge of horticulture and construction detailing that can be used on site
• Strong working knowledge of UK planning regulations and relevant statutory approvals
• Experience of producing design packages, schedules and specifications for high-end residential projects
• Right to work in the UK a must
