Interior Architect

We are looking for an exceptional interior architect or experienced Part II Architectural Assistant to join our growing architecture & interior design studio in South West London.

The candidate must have at least three year’s practical experience working in London residential projects with a proven track record of producing and executing concept design, planning applications, material specifications, tender documents, and on-site information. Remote working with frequent site visits to project sites in London and South East

Job Description

• Develop the project brief into design concept with the Creative Director and the Associate

• Produce planning application drawings with pre-application consultation if necessary

• Produce client presentation that includes 3D models and rendering

• Produce RIBA stage 4 design packs that include technical drawings and schedules as well as detail design of kitchens, bathrooms, and bespoke joinery

• Provide buildable site solutions during RIBA stage 5

• Attend site visits during RIBA stage 5 liaising with clients and contractors

• Check that thorough administrative records are being maintained

Skills Required

• Practical knowledge on the UK Building Regulations, planning requirements and technical standards in residential projects

• Extremely proficient in AutoCAD a must, proficiency in Sketchup desirable

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite

• Skills to produce well-thought out space layouts with good understanding of materials and manufacturing

• Excellent time management a must

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Education And Experience

• 3+ years experience working as a Part II Architectural Assistant or an Interior Architect (qualified in another country) in UK residential projects

• Experience in designing and drawing from concept design, planning drawings, tender documents, and on-site information

• Experience in working remotely with a close-knit design team

• Practical site experience to find buildable design solutions

• Relevant degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture

• Right to work in the UK
